Tuesday tip day-Glens Falls, NY family photographer

I'm posting from my phone so no pictures as I try to figure this out!

I've been wanting to talk a little more about depth of field. I have just a couple quick tips that anyone can do to increase bokeh and make your subject stand out more.

First tip, pull your subject further away from the background. This makes it easier for your camera to focus on the person and leave the background nice and blurry.

Second tip, if you have a slr and a zoom lens then use it! Get back further from your subject and zoom in on them.

Happy shooting! I'm on my way to Boston for a quick day trip!
